I come from a background with lived experience of many intersectionalies: I am a queer, person of colour, single mom, who has a disability and a neurodiversity. I am a chemist by trade, but I am currently working more with policy within the world of science. I am also an activist who is passionate about advocating for equity, diversity and inclusion. Bringing communities together and mobilizing people is something I do very well. A final fun fact about myself: I am an amateur magician and mentalist, and the journey of learning magic is teaching me a lot about connection with people and how to talk in ways to have people want to listen.
